He was known for his association with such successful productions as ''The Wizard of the Nile,'' ''The Princess Chic,'' ''The Bonnie Brier Bush,'' ''Arizona,'' ''The Earl of Pawtucket,'' ''The Virginian,'' ''The Education of Mr. Pipp'' and ''The Heir to the Hoorah.''
